Concept
Corporate executives are not satisfied with the small early success of domestic market, they have already set their sights to long development in the future, with the upcoming start of Phase II and III workshop construction and introducing advanced manufacturing equipments from home and abroad, they aim to becoming a first class valve supplier. "As to product positioning, we are gradually switching our focus to high-end products and making efforts to build our own brand. So we are cautious about selecting our partners. A well-known valve manufacturer wanted to seek international cooperation and hoped to use our 2/3 capacity for its production, which may be a much desired opportunity for some valve companies, but we are not willing to accept being only as OEM, which can’t reproduce other products and do other cooperation. In the long term, we want to create our own Y&B Valve brand, OEM business will not occupy much proportion. At the same time, relying solely on customer drawings to complete the order is bound to affect independent R & D ability of Y&B Valve and restrict the rapid development of enterprise. Therefore, we tend to choose high-end customers for a win-win cooperation, since they can not only benefit us in market expanding but also help us improve on both technology and management. For instance, one of our cooperators who is one of the world leading distributors of fluids equipments, known as an international dealer who has professional technical skills and extensive operational experiences, when auditing the factory, besides the price, they give us a lot of good advice, like minor improvement in some aspect may help a lot in the product quality. On the other hand, they have much more experience in managing the valve manufacturing, consequently they can do us a big favor in management and special equipment selection.”
Mr Zhou also believes that with the close integration of the hardware (including infrastructure, processing equipment, etc.) and software (staff quality, team atmosphere, etc.), Y&B VALVE can manufacture high-end valves successfully. He said: "The API 6A series products mentioned above are the embodiment of our efforts in improving product quality and processing capacity. As we all know, high demand is needed for API6A procucts on raw materials control, processing technology, processing equipment, as well as workers’ quality. Why API6A products? Firstly, they have broad market prospect. It is a good opportunity for company development, so we have imported a lot of equipments qualified for manufacturing these products. As they occupy more and more proportion in our production capacity, we will introduce more advanced equipments for manufacturing API6A products. Secondly, we want to upgrade staff quality as new products launched. If a worker always has access to the ordinary or low-grade products, they rarely pursue higher quality. But when the high-end products are put into production, it will not only improve their skills, self-demanding ability, but also improve the efficiency and quality of conventional products. "
Y&B Valve spares no effort to build people-oriented corporate culture, as well as invest for the hardware devices continuously. With the strict implementation of plant safety regulations and management system, the company management creates high-quality accommodation, working environment, learning environment for employees. "We pay attention to living and working environment for employees. Having a pleasant mood, a worker can manufacture high quality valves. The company also attaches great importance to staff training in basic skills and qualities. The hardware, software and welfare we provide to the employees are at the leading level at home”,said Mr. Lin. He holds that this investment also reflects the investor’s long-term expectations, not just for short-term benefits.
