    Established in 2007, Lishui Y&B Valve Co., Ltd. is a joint-venture which was invested 2,000 million dollars by Taiwanese and Greek. In as short as three years, Y&B Valve has rapidly emerged as the brightest star in valve world. Relying on investment and development of a series of high-end valve products, Y&B Valve has reached out its sales antenna to important strategic markets worldwide, and got a high degree of customer recognition. To explore the mystery of rapidly growing Y&B Valve, nowadays, Valve World magazine weekly in Asia, came to its new factory located in Lishui, Zhejiang Province, and proceeded in-depth exchanges with General Manager Mr. Lin Gongbo, and Sales Manager Mr. Zhou Xuejun (Frank, Zhou).

    "Recently, we have passed the supplier audit of several large engineering companies and valve end users," sales manager Mr Zhou said,? "CTCI Corporation in Taiwan and PTT in Thailand and other important clients have added Y&B Valve to their supplier list. Y&B Valve is still actively seeking access to more well-known engineering companies and end users, so orders of engineering project will occupy most of the business within the next few years."

Products and Market

    Since its establishment in Lishui, Zhejiang Province, Y&B Valve investors and the management clearly aim at the high-end market, and are committed to be a first class valve supplier in the future.

    General manager Lin said, " Our products cover the forged and casting gate valve, ball valve, globe valve, check valve, butterfly valve and automatic regulating valve. We have finished the product design and process development successfully for ball valve series with more than 60 specifications, while the gate valve occupying a large proportion. Besides, we will also introduce several types of oilfield wellhead equipment, including high grade well-head valve, high temperature and high pressure valves, production tree, kill manifold, interceptor, blowout preventer, etc." Meanwhile, with the homogenization of domestic valve products, Y&B Valve turns their attention to API 6A products. Mr Zhou said, "In the second half, API 6A valves will be in a large production. Relatively speaking, API 6A products are all processed by CNC equipment, with higher machining accuracy, dimensional accuracy and material requirements . Very few domestic enterprises are involved in this field, while the North American and European customers purchase more than 15 billion dollars in China each year, so we are very optimistic about the prospects for these products and will intensify the effort to strengthen the development of these products. In addition, the testing and production equipments for high temperature, low temperature and cryogenic valves have been in service. Therefore we can manufacture valves with application temperature ranging from -196 ° C ultra-low temperature to 800 ° C, diameter to 48 inches. " Mr Lin also explained that the main procucts of the company now are pipeline valve products, mainly used in petrochemical, power systems and also general chemical industries such as chemical industry, oil industry, including natural gas and municipal water project and etc., where high and middle pressure valves are suitable to work.

    With the support of Taiwan investors, Y&B Valve current products are mainly exported to Europe and the United States and international markets. And China’s sustained economic growth strengthens company management’s confidence in the domestic market. Mr Zhou said: " In addition to early investments and operating capital investment, the 20 years’ experience of Taiwan investor provides strong support to the company both in technique and market aspects. Our current production capacity is mainly for export market, including OEM and own-brand form to the Middle East, Europe, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, North America such as Mexico, the United States and etc. But the domestic market is also the focus of our company, we will gradually increase domestic market share in the company’s business, many international brands are very optimistic about China’s huge market, Y&B Valve has no reason to abandon this market. Newly entering the domestic market , our company has received many high-quality projects and business orders, mainly in power plants and chemical industries, such as Chitianhua projects and polysilicon project in Baoding, just for which we delivered more than 30,000 sets of valves."
