Tubing head is installed above the casing head with the role to hang the well tubing and seal the space between the tubing and casing annular. Currently, normally adopt the jackscrew valve suspension method. That means on the casing spool installing a jackscrew valves, on the top it has a conical body. Tubing hanger is also a cone type. With a ring on, in all the wellbore tubing weight pulling force, tubing hanger is put firmly inside the seat of jackscrew valve. The jackscrew is to prevent the well pressure too high to make the tubing string out of the tubing.

Casing head is a kind of special short connector. When on land or sea drilling, in order to support, fix the casing string down into well, install BOP stack and wellhead equipments, with threaded or flange connection with the top of casing string and is located in the outer casing.
